I was very happy to host Yifan Wang, from the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics, from December 8 to 11. Yifan works on many interesting problems in data analysis for ground-based gravitational wave detectors. While here, Yifan gave a seminar on his latest work on black hole spectroscopy. Stay tuned, because the paper is yet to apper in the arXiv!
We had a great time catching up on many matters during the week. Sadly, we forgot to take a photo. Schade! This will be remedied in the summer.
